SEEDS FROM PLOT 509

The summer has now come to an end, changing to autumn. This equinox signals the beginning of a change in the amount of sun energy we get in this hemisphere. This energy can be observed as slowly dwindling from vibrant colors in nature like greens and purples to softer, drier colors like the tans, browns, golds, and reds of aspens and maples.

Energy can also be observed in other places. For example, my two older sons display two very different energy levels. My oldest weighs about fifteen pounds more than his younger brother does; yet as I lift him up, he feels lighter than his younger brother.

My older son has a high-rev-like personality and can possibly be perceived as an Indigo Child. The younger brother, on the other hand, has DMD (Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy), and has difficulty moving lightly. When I go to lift him, it's like 'dead weight,' and he feels like he weighs more than his older brother.

Other ways to observe energy is by sensing or feeling vibrations in the things around us. The vibrations can most obviously be noticed in mechanical things like appliances and electronic equipment like stereos and computers.

But once those mechanical and electronic things are separated from our presence, the subtle vibrations or energies of living things can be noticed. Firstly, the animals are sensed, then the plant-life can be observed for energy. It takes a quiet body and mind to pick-up these vibrations. Then after we have observed 'life' vibrations, next to be noticed are some of the slowest vibrations, those of rocks. From sand to tectonic plates, it's all-inclusive in the wide spectrum of energy levels.
