DOVE OF PEACE

These are some images of Karen (Ariana's mama), from the February 15th peace march in Seattle.

She says, "I was inspired by the big doves I saw at the San Francisco march in January.  The frame of my dove is made from grapevine hoops and long apple tree suckers, covered with chicken wire and sheets.  Since we don't have olive trees here, the branch is a laurel, usually a symbol of victory, but the only real victory is peace."
