Gayatri is the name of the Divine Mother, who guides her children on their path to self-realization, and in the case of the Sri Gayatri, realization of our divine Light. This mantra embodies the teachings of all three Vedas, the oldest Sanskrit texts known. It calls us to never tire in our spiritual quest for the divine light from which we all came and to which we all return. This version includes the traditional Vedic invocation, as well as a new melodic interpretation and English lyrics by Ariana Saraha.
